Birthday and quizzes...

You are Shogo Kawada. You are the token "good
guy badass" of the film. You wield a
shotgun, and have a big fucking scar on your
face. Though you save two innocent students,
you still end up dying at the end. Therefore,
you are a pussy.
What Battle Royale student are you?

Not entirely sure I can agree with that. I saw myself much more like the guy with the locator whose name I forget - even chose the whole "would turn back to find the one you loved" thing. Or alternatively as the male protagonist innocent kid.
Though, perhaps, given that I would probably not entirely shirk out of killing people that tried to murder me first, Shougo may be a decent fit also...
And for a survey of my morality and personality go here: http://www.outofservice.com/morality/results/?morality=67&political=71&social=71&o=41&c=4&e=5&a=63&n=27
I think I'm slightly more liberal socially than this mentions - but I hesitated to use most "Always Right" answers, since that's too absolute for my tastes. Pretty much everything can be occasionally wrong, given the circumstances.

Anyway, my birthday was today... Didn't do much, just took a break off my programming so as to update my page (uploaded a small "hold" I had made for the game "Deadly Rooms of Death" which you can freely download through www.drod.net) and ofcourse to update this livejournal as well...
As for my mood... Well, I'd first chosen "lonely" but that isn't exactly right. It's more like a weird combination of loneliness but not actually wanting to talk with (or be around) people either, which is probably why I've not opened Trillian even though I've been on the Internet most of the day. So, probably "melancholy" fits a bit better. Ah, well...
And I've been rereading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix... You know, I've decided that I really like this book. Just like with The Silmarillion many years ago, I've discovered that I can turn to a random page and consistently find a passage I would enjoy rereading...
J.K.Rowling has definitely created one of the most fun series of books I've ever read, despite the occasional flaws and all.

Date: 2003-10-24 07:41 pm (UTC)Loneliness is a creative feeling, Rowlings felt it too some day in the past....

Date: 2003-10-24 10:02 pm (UTC)BTW, speaking of JK Rowling's Harry Potter, have you heard of Barry Trotter :)
Re: happy Birthday
Date: 2003-10-25 01:58 pm (UTC)Not sure about "Barry Trotter", but I have read the two "Torg Potter" parodies over at Sluggy Freelance.
The first one (Torg Potter & the Philosopher's Nuts) starts here: http://www.sluggy.com/daily.php?date=020902&mode=weekly
and goes on for about 4 weeks.
while the second (and IMO better one) is here: http://www.sluggy.com/daily.php?date=030915&mode=weekly
and is about as long.
Recommended.
