Politics overload.
Feb. 27th, 2004 10:00 pmYou know... last few days I've supported same-sex marriages in a dominantly conservative forum, discussed and defended the historicity of the character of Jesus in Usenet, and ended up strongly arguing (in a Tolkien newsgroup from all places) that (yes, Victoria) the American Civil War was indeed about slavery despite modern-day revisionists who say it was about "state's rights": Slavery was the only "states' right" it was about.
And yesterday, I watched the "debate", wrote the ramble, and spent quite a bit of time going through PASOK's site and reading positions and bios of candidate MPs, to figure out whom I'm gonna vote for...
Even for me, this is politics overload. I think I'll be calling it quits till after the elections. :-) See ya then.
