Heat and Bizarre Crossover Dreams

katsarisThe heat bit is self-explained. Heat Wave. Big bad heat-wave. Yesterday was probably the hottest day of them all. 40 C, I think? Aargh. We don't have an air condition, but the electric fans were definitely working overtime.
The Bizarre Crossover Dreams (BCDs from now on) need a bit further explanation I guess. Some of my dreams have started following a pattern it seems, and it'll definitely be amusing if it continued. For anyone remotely interested in another man's dreams:
First BCD, some weeks ago, involved me reading a comic which included an encounter between Disney's Duck family (aka Scrooge, Donald, the three Nephews) and Sai's ghost from Hikaru-no-Go. Another kinda-amusing tidbit here was that the story seemed to be taking place in an alternate universe where it was Touya, not Hikaru, that had first encountered Sai -- and then for some reason Touya proceeded to throw Sai's Goban to the bottom of the ocean; it's during an underwater expedition that the Ducks discover the Goban.
Scrooge was a decent Go player, btw, only one of the bunch who knew the game, though he himself admitted he couldn't beat Sai in a hundred years. Obviously learned the game during some business trip in Asia. :-)
Second Bizarre Crossover Dream, yesterday, was if anything even more weird than the first. I'm watching on TV a story where 7th Heaven's Matt Camden in a wheelchair (but it was a disguise, not a necessity) tries, kinda like an undercover reporter, to infiltrate the Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter universe. He swiftly rolls and fast-talks his way from desk to desk in the Ministy of Magic until only a handful of feet away from the Minister he's stopped by a force field and to be allowed entrance he says he is the brother of the sister of the Minister. (my dream-self is thinking at this point that if he meant half-brother of the Minister's half-sister that'd make a tiny bit more sense, logicwise). He speaks a little with the Minister and even takes a quick photograph of him. After a while he quickly rolls his way out of the Ministry and the employees there suddenly realise he was non-magic folk and was obviously there to take proof for the Ministry's existence.
In the final shots we see Eric Camden together with Hikaru-no-Go's Kurata (sorry, I found no pic of him online), both of them in on the plot evidently. We also get some shots of several of the Camden kids, Hikaru no Go's Hong su-Young, and lastly the trio of Harry, Hermione and Ron.
No Touya or Hikaru, alas, except in Matt's thoughts -- as he talked with the Minister the narrator tells us that Matt thought the fake persona he had constructed for this was as much an opposite to the Minister and he and Minister as eager to know about each other, as Touya and Hikaru were. No, don't ask me to explain it.
And *no*, before anyone asks, I'm never ever *ever* writing these things. I've not *completely* lost my marbles yet. *g* Anyone else wants them, feel free to take them!
Anyway, it definitely seems I'm a huge geek even in my sleep. :-)
