Hmm... if I'm to destroy mankind in 2005, and you're to save the human race in 2011, doesn't that mean that the humanity you'll be saving will be mainly composed by... one person, namely me?

And I think I'll leave the *other* possible implication of "saving the human race" unspoken - a bit too crude to speak to a recent acquiantance. Dirty enough minds can imagine, I have no doubt. :-)

One blogger known as Frank J www.imao.us has some joking anti-monkey campaign, along with rumors that Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit fame makes an energy drink form putting puppies into a blender, so he's basically nuts, but in a funny way.

It looks like I will lead the worldwide resistance, but you will probably have me killed, as I die in war 7 years before you are killed by monkeys :)

Dude. Not that I don't appreciate the continuation of the meme, but such things are usually posted in one's own journal, so they can then be discovered by more and more people in turn...

And an anti-monkey campaign! Bah. I shall not be robbed of my glorious monkey demise. :-)
