From George, Aris's brother: ------------------------------- Hi Aris, how are you? I was just wondering what your thoughts are on the U.S. election now that Barack Obama has secured the Democratic nomination. If I remember correctly you had once told me that Obama was your favourite candidate for the position of U.S. President, so perhaps congratulations are in order! It's probably going to be a very close race against John McCain however - the latest poll I heard of has both of them at 46 per cent!!! In any case, history has been made already with the first African-American to ever become a major party's nominee for President. From what I've been hearing there is also a possibility that Hillary Clinton is going to be Obama's running mate - it is a distinct possibility therefore that in January 2009 the United States of America is going to have its first ever female Vice-President! Exciting times that lie ahead indeed, aren't they? :-)
