*g* As for the hats, I think I am with homasse's opinion: they are dorky. But that's okay, we're a rather dorky profession. :-)

And speaking of Halatsis, there was a little kid in the ceremony (I assume Halatsis' grandkid) who throughout the event kept running back and fro between where Halatsis was sitting, and the seats at the back. Rather cute, though alas I have no photos of it. :-)
